Looking elegant and radiant on your wedding day is the dream of every bride. The wedding season is in full swing and if your big day is just around the corner, I am sure you are busy planning last-minute details. But wait a second, have you thought about yourself? And how YOU will look effortlessly beautiful on your wedding day? I’m pretty sure your wedding planner is taking care of everything but if you are not looking fresh on your big day, all the efforts will go in vain. I have gathered here a list of beauty tips that will help you enjoy your special day. Let’s check them out!
-
Take some days off from work
This might sound very common but it is probably one of the most important tips. If you are opting for a destination wedding and wish to look refreshed on the wedding day, consider arriving three to four days before the wedding destination. Why? Because this way you can relax and enjoy the area. There will be no jet lag and no fuss! It’s undoubtful that plenty of sleep and relaxation are the main factors that contribute to the perfect bridal experience.
-
Hydrate yourself
Does the importance of hydration even need any explanation? I don’t think so! Water helps detoxify and gives a natural glow to the skin. It plays a crucial role in perfecting your bridal care routine. So please don’t skip it and take a water bottle with you wherever you go.
-
Include more healthy habits
I know this is your wedding and you have the right to enjoy late-night party sessions and evenings with your best friends but adopting some healthy habits will prove to be miraculous for you. I would suggest going to bed not so late, following a proper AM and PM skincare regimen, avoiding heavy junk food or street food as well as eating healthy meals.
-
Relax, relax and relax!
Beautiful ladies, dedicate this time solely to yourself. Nourish your body, soul, and mind. Invest in essential oils, soak in hotel spas for amazing relaxation, and drink lots of water! This is definitely the easiest-to-follow beauty tip!
Forget your work responsibilities for some time and enjoy the present moment because your wedding celebration is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Don’t let anything dull your sparkle.
-
Haircare
When it comes to your hair I have some tips for you as well. Always wash your hair the night before your wedding day followed by your favorite conditioner or a hair-treatment mask. This helps the hairstylist to style your hair without any hassle (unless your hairstylist requests for another washing method). Silky hair looks absolutely breathtaking at weddings!

Makeup tips
Please don’t test new products on your skin the day prior to your wedding. Some of them may cause an allergic reaction and I am pretty sure you do not want to wake up with unexplained pimples on the morning of your ceremony. Stick to the products that you trust and do not try anything new days before the wedding.
-
Know your skin type and invest in products accordingly
Knowing your skin type is the first step towards having clear, fresh, luminous, and a beautiful complexion. Also, don’t forget to mention your skin type to the makeup artist! That helps them to choose the right products appropriate for your skin.

On the wedding day
The most important wedding day beauty tip is to wake up early. Drink lots of water and have your breakfast in bed if you can. Yes, you heard that right! I always suggest that my brides have their breakfasts in their suites because this helps them to relax. Don’t ever skip breakfast! It is the most important meal of the day and I want my brides to feel happy and energetic for their wedding.

What about the bridal preparation?
In my opinion, the bride should get ready in the presence of one or maximum two people. Having all bridesmaids in the same room can sometimes get very tiring and stressful. Also, that helps you to enjoy every single detail of your bridal preparation. Remember this is YOUR day and YOU are the highlight of the whole celebration. I would suggest inviting your bridesmaids into the room when you are all ready to take pictures and drink a glass of champagne together.

Final beauty tip (the most important one!)
Ladies, the key to looking elegant and radiant on your wedding day is to be as calm and as happy as possible. It’s very important not to stress with minor things. Your wedding planner is in charge of every single detail so just sit back, relax, take a deep breath and get ready to tie the knot with your loved one in style.
