One of the biggest mistakes that brides make is to visit several bridal shops and try on so many dresses at once. I would first advise to select one or two bridal salons that most reflect your style and check out the specific brands you are looking for before the visit. When your choice is made do not forget to book your appointment ahead of time and secure your session to avoid any inconvenience. Another advice is to hire a wedding dress specialist if you can. If that is not possible you can even ask your wedding planner to accompany you. It is definitely a great opportunity for your wedding planner to get you know you more and help you with your choice.

Sometimes the first two bridal shop visits are not enough. This usually happens when the bride is not 100% sure of her style or has not found what she is looking for. At this point I always tell my brides to be more open to new possibilities. Take your time, do your research again, make appointments and then make the final decision. Explore more options and you might find the dress that will fit your body perfectly. And do not forget that it takes two to three fittings to adjust a gown but don’t be shy to ask for more. After all, your dress should be perfect on you.

5. Choose your wedding gown according to your wedding style
The last thing you would want for your bridal gown is to clash with your wedding style. Keep the weather, location, and décor in mind while choosing for bridal attires and accessories. The main purpose of a wedding dress is to match your personality but it should also align with the mood of your wedding. Make sure everything is perfectly balanced! Remember that your wedding planner is the right person to help you on that.
