As for the beaches, the best beaches in Puglia are in the area of Salento. The region has crystal blue waters with great rock formations. It is great for gathering guests on a beautiful day of sunshine and to enjoy the “il dolce far niente” of the Italian culture. If you would like to enjoy the beach lifestyle in Puglia you should consider the months of May and June or September for your destination wedding. And I would avoid the months of July and August when the beaches are crowded and the temperatures are pretty high.

Here you will find its conical roof houses called Trulli built mainly in the 19th century. These typical houses were once used as shelters or storehouses for the agricultural laborers.
